De Kamer van volksvertegenwoordigers keurde een wetsvoorstel goed dat de voorwaarden verstrengt om de Belgische nationaliteit te verwerven. Op het ogenblik dat dit voorstel wet wordt (voorzien op 1 januari 2013), zullen er integratievoorwaarden zijn om de Belgische nationaliteit te kunnen krijgen.
