The EMN has collected data on statelessness from across EU Member States and Georgia to assess progress, draw key findings on the state of play, and provide an overview of how statelessness is addressed.

Het CGVS heeft zijn jaarverslag 2020 gepubliceerd. Het jaarverslag bevat een compleet overzicht van de asielcijfers van 2020. Verder focust het rapport onder andere op de impact van COVID-19, op de werking van het CGVS en op de internationale asielcontext.
Het jaarverslag is beschikbaar in het Nederlands en Frans in een online versie en in PDF formaat.

Op 12 december 2018 organiseerde het Belgisch Contactpunt van het Europees Migratienetwerk (EMN) zijn jaarlijks beleidsevenement rond asiel en migratie. Recente nationale en Europese ontwikkelingen op het vlak van internationale bescherming, legale migratie en integratie kwamen aan bod, alsook de recente evoluties aangaande irreguliere migratie, mensenhandel en terugkeer.

Eurostat published a statistical analysis on the number of unaccompanied minors who applied for international protection in 2017. the 31,400 applications represent an important decrease compared to previous years.
