Tijdens deze bijeenkomst zullen de ombudsmannen voor kinderen en de kinderwelzijns- en voogdijautoriteiten van de EU-lidstaten en andere landen samenkomen om een open discussie te voeren over de specifieke aspecten van de rechten van niet-begeleide minderjarigen uit derde landen.

The Federal Police draws attention to this invisible phenomenon and asks to make it a priority for action.

Fifteen European countries plead with the European Commission to go beyond the New Pact on Migration and Asylum. They push for comprehensive, mutually beneficial and durable partnerships with third countries located along the migratory routes. The World Health Organization has published its first-ever global research agenda on health, migration and displacement to guide research efforts to understand and address the health needs of migrants, refugees, and all forcibly displaced populations and shape responsive policies and practices worldwide. 

De Ombudsman wil weten of de Commissie een beoordeling heeft uitgevoerd van de impact op de mensenrechten voordat het akkoord werd ondertekend, of er periodieke evaluaties zullen plaatsvinden tijdens de uitvoering, en of er criteria zijn voor het opschorten van financiering in geval van schendingen van de mensenrechten.

De organisatie meldt een enorme toename van het aantal kwetsbare jonge asielzoekers die verdwijnen in België. Het aantal verdwijningen zou dit jaar kunnen verdubbelen in vergelijking met 2022, waarin 136 gevallen werden geregistreerd.

The EMN Slovakia Educational Seminar on Migration is a learning platform about migration that fosters networking, experience sharing, and discussions among (inter)national experts and participants. The seminar has been organised by IOM as the coordinator of the EMN activities in Slovakia with funding from the European Union since 2012, each year on a specific migration-related topic.
