Ter ere van de 10de verjaardag van het EMN werd een rapport opgesteld. Dit rapport verschaft een overzicht van de belangrijkste trends inzake asiel- en migratiestromen van het voorbije decennium. Het rapport gaat ook dieper in op de bijdragen van het EMN aan het asiel- en migratiebeleid.

On 28 July 2026, the international community marks the 75th anniversary of the 1951 Convention relating to the Status of Refugees. The Convention remains the cornerstone of the international refugee protection framework, establishing the rights of refugees and the obligations of States to protect people forced to flee persecution. On this occasion, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and the European Union reaffirm their commitment to upholding refugee protection and international cooperation.

Het Europees Migratienetwerk Luxemburg (EMN Luxemburg) en het UniGR-Center for Border Studies (UniGR-CBS) organiseren deze conferentie ter gelegenheid van de 40ste verjaardag van het Schengenakkoord, en om kritisch te reflecteren over dit akkoord in het licht van de huidige ontwikkelingen.
