Op basis van 80 landen waarvan een migrati-profiel werd opgesteld , biedt deze gids praktische indicaties voor de voorbereiding, het opmaken en opvolgen van een migratie-profiel van een land.

The 14th summit of the Global Forum on Migration and Development will focus on "From environmental concerns to cultural aspects of migration: adopting an inclusive approach to meet the challenges and increases the opportunities for human mobility". This high-level event will mark the conclusion of the French Chairmanship of the GFMD. 

On 14 to 16 May 2014, Sweden hosted the 7th Global Forum on Migration and Development (GFMD) Meeting in Stockholm with the theme “Unlocking the potential of migration for inclusive development.”

The 7th Meeting of the Global Forum on Migration and Development (GFMD) will take place in Stockholm on 14-16 May 2014. The GFMD Civil Society Days are held prior to the meeting, on 12-13 May 2014.
