World Refugee Day: Awareness Day Events
On the occasion of the world refugee day, many activities are planned in Belgium. Informal meetings, concerts, exhibitions, theatre and other events are proposed in different cities to celebrate and share this special day!
Let's celebrate the world refugee day by participating in one or several events organized on this occasion, inter alia:
UNHCR organizes the 2018 Refugee Food festival during which refugee chefs and locals come together to share food and friendship in many cities including Brussels. More information on the 2018 festival here.
Caritas organizes informal meetings with refugees in Brussels, Liège and Antwerp. Discussions, games and other opportunities to exchange with refugees will be offered. These events are part of the #sharejourney campaign. More information about the global week of action 2018 here.
Ciré invites you to an event gathering foreign artists (asylum seekers, refugees, undocumented persons...). Concerts, exhibitions, theatre...will be proposed. More information here.
