Brussels Platform: The asylum authorities and the increased influx of asylum seekers
The Immigration Office, the Commissioner General for Refugees and Stateless persons, Fedasil and Klein Kasteeltje will explain the impact of the increased influx of asylum seekers on the asylum procedure and reception system.
What
Foyer organizes this Brussels Platform for legal aid / social care workers, civil servants in municipalities, public centers for social welfare and lawyers.
The following topics will be addressed: reception, policy regulating the granting of refugee/subsidiary protection to persons fleeing conflicts (in Syria, Irak, Somalia, Burundi), voluntary and forced return, resettlement.
Please note that the language used is Dutch but questions can be asked in French or English.
