6th EMN Educational Seminar on Migration (Bratislava)

This year seminar will be focused on vulnerabilities of migrants in the current global migration context. 

What?

The seminar’s overall objective is to provide professionals working in the state institutions, non-governmental sector, research bodies or other relevant organisations with comprehensive and up-to-date information on migration issues and thus contribute to policymaking process in Slovakia and other EU countries. The seminar also creates a unique learning platform about migration and fosters networking, experience sharing and discussions among (inter)national experts and participants.

Every edition of the EMN Educational Seminar deals with specific migration related areas. This year seminar will be focused on vulnerabilities of migrants in the current global migration context. You can find out more about the 2012 - 2017 seminars in the EMN Educational Seminar Profile below. Outputs from the last seminar are available here.

Each year, the seminar is attended by more than 50 participants who have the opportunity to meet various experts from the European Commission, EU agencies, international organisations like ICMPD, IOM, UNHCR and UNODC as well as from renowned universities and other institutions.

Who?

The seminar is open to participants coming from/nominated by other EMN National Contact Points based in all EU Member States and Norway. Registration to the seminar will be launched in June.
