Le gouvernement belge actuel, en fonction depuis octobre 2020, a annoncé qu'il remplacerait la loi sur les étrangers par un nouveau Code de la Migration. Dans ce contexte, le REM Belgique a recherché des informations sur la structure des lois nationales sur la migration des autres États membres et sur la terminologie utilisée pour les politiques, les sujets et les institutions liés à la migration, dont le résultat a été compilé et résumé.
