Frontex publishes first Annual Report of the Frontex Consultative Forum on Fundamental Rights

The key task of the Consultative Forum is to provide advice to Frontex on fundamental rights issues. The Annual Report gives an overview of the activities undertaken by the Consultative Forum in 2013 and contains the main recommendations made to Frontex and its Management Board.

Annual Risk Analysis 2013 (Frontex)

The General Court of the EU states that Frontex can't be held liable for any damage related to the return of Syrian refugees to Turkey

In its judgment in Case T-600/21 | WS and Others v Frontex, the General Court dismissed today the action of a number of Syrian refugees who had brought a claim for compensation before the General Court of the European Union. The applicants claimed that Frontex engaged in improper conduct with regard to them.

EU and UK agree to increase cooperation to curb irregular migration in the English Channel

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen agreed to strengthen cooperation between the EU and UK on migration through developing a new working arrangement between UK agencies and Frontex, enabling them to "work together on critical operational and strategic challenges including the situation in the Channel".
