Online Launch of the EASO Asylum Report 2020
On 25 June 2020, the European Asylum Support Office (EASO) will launch the 2020 edition of its annual flagship EASO Asylum Report. Due to the COVID-19 situation, this year EASO will be holding an online event to present and discuss the findings of the report, as well as developing asylum trends in the EU.
What
As the go-to source of information on international protection in Europe, the Report provides a comprehensive overview of recent key developments in asylum. Together with Ylva Johansson, EU Commissioner for Home Affairs, David Costello, Chair of the EASO Management Board, Nina Gregori, EASO’s Executive Director, and EASO experts, EASO will present recent developments in asylum trends, legislation and policies. EASO will also share best practices and summarise challenges which persist. The event will include a live Questions and Answers session.
