On 10 December 2019, EMN Belgium organises its annual asylum and migration policy event in which recent national and EU developments in the field of international protection, legal migration and integration and irregular migration and return will be discussed.

The Annual National Conference of the EMN Luxembourg on “Attracting start-up founders and innovative entrepreneurs from third countries” will be held on the 1st October in Esch-sur-Alzette.

Each year, the Odysseus Network organizes a Summer School in EU immigration and asylum law and policy. The courses tackle the most recent legislative, jurisprudential and political developments in the field at EU level.

On May 27, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, European Commission and European Migration Network organise the International Conference “A New European Agenda on Migration?”. During this event, experts will share their views on the achievements, challenges and perspectives of integration and migration policies in Europe.

On 18 January a conference will take place in Brussels organised by the federal Migration Centre Myria, the Académie Royale des Sciences et des Beaux-Arts de Belgique, the Koninklijke Vlaamse Academie van België voor Wetenschappen en Kunsten and newspaper Le Soir. The focus will be on international protection and economic migration.

On the occasion of the international migrants day, this conference will inter alia focus on how to integrate and support refugees and on which role Flemish authorities can play in the current crisis.

During this workshop, day-to-day making and unmaking of borders will be investigated from the perspective of history, policy making, surveillance and control, contestation and human agency.

Join us to discuss how to provide irregular migrants with information on voluntary return and how to address vulnerabilities in the return and reintegration process.

In the context of the unprecedented influx of refugees and migrants, the COMECE wishes to look behind the immediate horizon of the crisis and consider how best to integrate migrants into the host society.

"Inburgering" and Integration are being quantitatively and qualitatively brought to light and examined in several specific fields: education, living conditions, labour market, entrepreneurship and rights.

On the 7th of October 2015, the Luxembourg Contact Point of the European Migration Network organizes - in the framework of the Luxembourgish Presidency of the European Council - the EMN Conference on "30 Years of the Schengen Agreement".

The 5 days training programme focuses on the issues of residence, international protection, employment and social assistance, private international law, citizenship, and integration processes.

EASO is organising a full day general conference on 23 September in Malta with the theme: 5 years of EASO and the CEAS; results and perspectives.

Odysseus Network organizes the 15th edition of its Summer School with the aim to train participants on the most recent developments in the immigration and asylum policy of the European Union.

During this launch event of the EMN Annual Report on Immigration and Asylum 2014, a variety of stakeholders will exchange information and views on key issues of the implementation of migration and asylum for the EU and Member States.
