Integration and Civic Integration: Challenges for future research and policy (Steunpunt Inburgering en Integratie)
"Inburgering" and Integration are being quantitatively and qualitatively brought to light and examined in several specific fields: education, living conditions, labour market, entrepreneurship and rights.
What
The "Steunpunt Inburgering en Integratie" was set up in January 2012 with a view to scientifically supporting the Flemish policymaking. It is a consortium made of the university of Antwerp, the KU Leuven, the university of Ghent and the university of Hasselt. After 4 years, the outcomes of the research are to be presented to policy makers, the civil society, external experts and researchers who will exchange views on this matter.
