Online Launch of the EUAA Asylum Report 2023
On Tuesday, 4 July 2023, the European Union Agency for Asylum will be launching its 2023 Asylum Report during an exclusive online event!
What
The online launch will highlight the EUAA Asylum Report which presents developments in international protection in Europe throughout 2022, from both a qualitative and a quantitative perspective. The report also provides information on major developments in the first part of 2023. The EUAA Asylum Report is regarded by policy-makers, academics, legislators and practitioners as the go-to reference on the state of the European Union’s Common European Asylum System (CEAS). Inevitably, this year’s Report will particularly highlight the changing protection dynamics in the light of increased strains on Europe’s asylum and receptions systems, including the first-ever activation of the Temporary Protection Directive in 2022, facilitating the welcoming of millions of refugees fleeing the illegal Russian invasion of Ukraine.
