EMN Netherlands Conference: Family Reunification in Europe and the Netherlands
This conference organised by EMN Netherlands, in cooperation with EMN Belgium, will focus on family reunification of beneficiaries of international protection in EMN Member and Observer Countries. The influence of European case law in this field will also be examined in more detail.
What
The European Migration Network (EMN) will shortly publish an Inform on "Family reunification of beneficiaries of international protection". This Inform provides information on inter alia the application process for family reunification, the required means to demonstrate family ties and reunification with children in the different participating countries. It also examines the influence of European case law in this field in recent years.
During the conference, national and international experts will discuss the similarities and differences between policies and practices related to family reunification of beneficiaries of international protection in EMN Member and Observer Countries, as well as the consequences of implementing judgements from the European Court of Justice in this matter.
