Countries along the Western Balkans Migration Route decide to work together to tackle the refugee crisis.
During a meeting on 25 October, leaders from countries facing challenges along the Western Balkans Migration Route agreed on a 17-point plan of action.

Sunday 25 October 2015, leaders from Albania, Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, the former YRM, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Romania, Serbia and Slovenia met in Brussels and agreed to improve cooperation. They also decided on pragmatic operational measures to tackle the refugee crisis in the region.
Concretely, leaders agreed to:
- allow permanent exchange of information
- limit secondary movements
- support, provide shelter and rest to refugees
- manage the migration flow together
- increase efforts to manage borders
- step up actions against migrant smuggling and trafficking
- make use of communication tools to inform refugees and migrants
- monitor the implementation of such commitments
