Under the endorsement of the EMN Platform on Statelessness, this ad hoc query explores the legal framework and practice of EMN Member Countries to prevent stateless persons from receiving social and healthcare benefits in multiple countries simultaneously.

This study provides an overview of the social security entitlements of certain categories of immigrants in Belgium. It also analyses the socio-economic position of immigrants in Belgium.

The main findings of the corresponding EMN study on migrant access to social security in Belgium and of the European synthesis report on migrant access to social security in the EU will be presented. EMN will also welcome well-known experts in the field of migration and social security.
