The 8th EMN Educational Seminar on Migration will be about “Migration in a Multilateral World” and will take place online from 24 till 26 August 2021. During three intensive days, the Seminar will focus on how migration and multilateralism is intertwined and how the international cooperation affects migrants and refugees in transiting or destination countries.
From 7 until 9 July 2021, the International Migration, Integration and Social Cohesion in Europe (IMISCOE), a European network of scholars in the area of migration and integration, will hold its annual conference. The event, entitled "Crossing borders, connecting cultures", will be held entirely online.
The Academy of European Law (ERA) organizes its annual conference on EU Border Management between 9 June 2021 and11 June 2021.

On the 9th of May, the European Union celebrates 'Europe Day'. This day commemorates the date of the Schuman Declaration, which was the starting point for today’s European Union.
On 10 December 2019, EMN Belgium organises its annual asylum and migration policy event in which recent national and EU developments in the field of international protection, legal migration and integration and irregular migration and return will be discussed.
The Annual National Conference of the EMN Luxembourg on “Attracting start-up founders and innovative entrepreneurs from third countries” will be held on the 1st October in Esch-sur-Alzette.
Each year, the Odysseus Network organizes a Summer School in EU immigration and asylum law and policy. The courses tackle the most recent legislative, jurisprudential and political developments in the field at EU level.
On May 27, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, European Commission and European Migration Network organise the International Conference “A New European Agenda on Migration?”. During this event, experts will share their views on the achievements, challenges and perspectives of integration and migration policies in Europe.
On 18 January a conference will take place in Brussels organised by the federal Migration Centre Myria, the Académie Royale des Sciences et des Beaux-Arts de Belgique, the Koninklijke Vlaamse Academie van België voor Wetenschappen en Kunsten and newspaper Le Soir. The focus will be on international protection and economic migration.
