About this study:

In 2006, the Ministry of the Interior commissioned the Centre with a study on the impact of the regularization campaign 1999/2000. The University of Antwerp (Centre 'Herman Deleeck') and the ULB provided a multi disciplinary approach.

The study addresses the socio-economical situation of irregular migrants, regularized according to the Law of 22 December 1999 and compares their situation before, during and after the regularization campaign. The Centre intends to provide researchers and policy makers with a first working instrument on the impact of the regularization of irregular migrants and on the further policy on this field.

This study is available in French and Dutch.
