LU NCP Conference on 'Moving policy forward, keeping research relevant – strengthening the research-policy dialogue in the fields of migration and integration' (Luxembourg)

The Luxembourg National Contact Point of the European Migration Network organizes its national conference on 'Moving forward, keeping research relevant- strengthening the research-policy dialogue in the fields of migration and integration' on 24 October in Esch-Beval. 

What?

The conference will bring together researchers and policy-makers to reflect on the role research has in providing knowledge that supports stakeholders in their task of formulating effective and coherent migration and integration policies and programmes.

Peter Scholten, Associate Professor of Public Policy & Politics at the Erasmus University Rotterdam will be giving a key-note speech; other confirmed speakers include Alessandra Zampieri, Head of the Demography, Migration and Governance Unit of the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre, Pawel Busiakiewicz, Head of Knowledge Hub for Migration and Security of DG Migration and Home Affairs of the European Commission, Simon McMahon, research fellow at Coventry University, as well as Serge Allegrezza, Director General of Luxembourg’s National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies.
