Last day to see Transit51 Foto Exhibition: Lifes of women in "Petit Château"

Fedasil invites you to discover the daily life of women residing in a reception centre for asylum seekers. The Transit51 foto exhibition is to be seen from 8 to 31 March in Brussels.

What?

How do women asylum seekers organize their daily life in the biggest reception center of the country, the Petit Château? Do they get to manage expectations along with an asylum application and within a community of 850 people? Do they still come to dream?

This to answer such questions that the photographer Lisa Van Damme has stayed several weeks in the "Petit-Château" and shared the daily life, dreams and fears of five women. The images in this exhibition are a selection from the book "Transit51 - lives of women in Petit Château" (Editions Lannoo).
