Joint European Migration Network & OECD event on family reunification and illegal employment

A joint European Migration Network & OECD event will take place on 9th November 2017. Two thematic sessions are presented within this full-day event: "Challenges and good practices in family migration policies" and "Illegal employment of third-country nationals in the EU: Challenges and solutions".

What?

The European Migration Network & OECD are organizing a joint event. 

Two thematic sessions are organized within this full-day event:

  1. Morning session: "Challenges and good practices in family migration policies: Balancing migrants’ right to family life, migration control and the competition for talent."
  2. Afternoon session: "Illegal employment of third-country nationals in the EU: Challenges and solutions."

Alongside the European Migration Network (EMN) and OECD experts, representatives of other relevant national and international organisations will participate in this event to discuss both strategies and concrete measures regarding both family reunification and illegal employment.

The event is in English (no translation foreseen).

This joint event will take place in Radisson Blu Hotel in Brussels, in the framework of the Estonian Presidency of the Council of the EU.
