FES experts' meeting: The gendered face of migration

What can research and practice teach us on how to improve the situation of women and girls refugees and migrants? This meeting will inter alia address this question.

What?

This meeting organized by the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung EU Office aims to have a closer look at gender related issues at the different stage of the migration journey, and to analyze the impact of EU policies on root causes of migration, on legal avenues, on rights and protection of migrants and refugees as well as on integration in Europe. It will bring together politicians, researchers and women’s rights activists to strengthen a network defending women’s rights and gender equality in migration, asylum and integration policies in Europe.
