EMN Belgian Presidency High-Level Conference (2 days)
This conference of the European Migration Network (REM), organized within the framework of the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, will bring together high-level representatives and a wider audience of experts to discuss the operationalization and the implementation of the New Pact on Migration and Asylum.
What
This EMN Conference intends to launch and present the work done by the EU Commission and the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the EU to operationalise and implement the New Pact on Migration and Asylum, while, at the same time, launching the debate on the upcoming steps to take to make the operationalisation and implementation of the New Pact a reality.
This Conference is hosted by EMN Belgium together with its partners the Federal Public Service Interior, the Office of the Commissioner General for Refugees and Stateless Persons (CGRS), the Federal Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers (Fedasil) and the Federal Migration Centre (Myria), and is funded by the European Union.

The conference will take place at the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium.
