Book presentation: Family reunification under pressure

Researcher and author Pascal Debruyne will present his book which contains stories of parents and minors who struggle through the family reunification procedure and stories of care providers who try their best to support these families. Panel discussions will also take place with experts in this field.

What

The book "Family reunification under pressure: transnational social work" is the end point of a three-year research project. Researcher and author Pascal Debruyne went to talk to 45 families - parents and minors who are struggling through the family reunification procedure - and 55 care providers with few instruments to guide these families.

During the book presentation, Pascal Debruyne will present his findings to experts. Panel discussions will also take place with refugees, guardians, lawyers, Children's Rights Commissioner etc.
