Today the European Commission adopted its Work Programme for 2015 – setting out the actions the Commission intends to take over the next 12 months to make a real difference for jobs, growth and investment and bring concrete benefits for citizens.

Based on the EMN Work Programme 2014, approved by the Steering Board in November 2013 and in the process of being formally approved by the Commission, the EMN will work this year on new deliverables.

The EMN Work Programme for 2013 builds on and consolidates the approach of last year, improving the network capacity for producing information in more flexible and timely ways to meet the needs of policymakers.

The October edition of the European Asylum Support Office (EASO) newsletter has been published. EASO has also recently published its work programme for 2013.

Responding to information needs and increasing responsiveness to policy makers needs, is the key EMN objective for 2013. The EMN also aims at further informing media and public debates on asylum and immigration.
