The King Baudouin Foundation (KBF) and the Centre for Equal Opportunities and Opposition to Racism (Centre) published a compilation of facts and figures to support the public debate on migration policy

About this study:

In 2008, the King Baudouin Foundation (KBF) and the Centre for Equal Opportunities and Opposition to Racism (Centre) organized a serial of public debates on the Belgian migration policy. To facilitate these debates the KBF and the Centre published a report with key information on crucial policy fields. The publication aims to answer possible questions to such fields like:

  • Statistics: Who comes to Belgium, who remains, who returns - and why?
  • Rights: state of play with regard to the legislation
  • Labour market: access of third country nationals to the labour market?

The publication is available in French and in Dutch.
