Call for Projects in the framework of the European Return Fund Annual Programme 2012

On 28 September 2012 a call for proposals was published in the Belgian Official Gazette, making available resources provided for voluntary return in the annual program 2012.

Background

The Decision establishing the European Return Fund (575/2007/EC) sets the general framework of the Fund and determines the type of actions that are taken into consideration depending on the target group.

Modalities of implementation (2011/177/EU, 2008/458/EC, 2007/873/EC) determine the financial rules and other rules proponents must meet.

Annual Program 2012

The annual program 2012, which is based on this call for projects, was approved by the European Commission on 6 June 2012.

A budget of € 1.9 million is available for this call for proposals. These resources can be spent from 1 January 2012 to 30 June 2014 included.

The "voluntary return" component that is subject to this call for projects, is managed by the Immigration Office in close cooperation with Fedasil.
