ECRE has published a comparative report on places and conditions of detention of people seeking international protection in 21 EU Member States and five non-EU European countries. The report examines the places used for detention, including their management and staffing. It also assesses detention conditions, including living conditions, healthcare, activities, access and monitoring. Finally, it looks at the situation of people in vulnerable positions, including women, families and unaccompanied children.
