The purpose of this study was to provide an overview of the organisation of reception facilities for asylum seekers in the different Member States and to identify good practices and existing mechanisms for efficient and flexible reception facilities whilst ensuring quality.

This report provides statistics, information on the legal framework, the asylum procedure and reception conditions for asylum seekers in Belgium.

The Dublin transnational network project co-ordinated by Forum Réfugiés -Cosi in collaboration with ECRE, the Hungarian Helsinki Committee and national partners published a comparative report on the Dublin application in several EU member states.

The final approval of the recast of the reception conditions directive was accomplished in June 2013. Background information, state of play and case law regarding this directive can be found here.
