Symposium: Improving the Health and Well-being of Migrants in Europe: Shaping a Comprehensive EU-Wide Strategy

The symposium is organized by Public Policy Exchange, in partnership with the Centre for Parliamentary Studies.

Continuing the migration platform of the Public Policy Exchange for the discussion and exchange of good practices, this special international symposium focusing on at-risk groups (such as young, female workers), will seek to highlight the working conditions, safety and well-being of migrant workers in the EU.

The symposium will consider these issues in the context of growing labour demands across all relevant sectors, in order to construct more effective initiatives for the integration and inclusion of the European migrant working population.

Key speakers are Mrs. Piroska Ostlin (WHO), Mrs. Anna Ludwinek (Eurofound), Mrs. Roumyana Benedict (IOM), Mrs. Maria Kontos (Goethe University, Frankfurt) and Mr. Richard Lewis (VUB).
