On 5 June 2012, the Commissioner General for Refugees and Stateless Persons presented its annual report for the reference year 2011.

For the fourth consecutive year, the number of asylum applications in Belgium rose to nearly 25.500 cases in 2011.
In the first chapter all relevant figures and statistics such as applications, decisions and workload are presented.
In the second chapter the organisation itself is presented as well as European projects and developments.
The annual report and previous editions can be consulted on the website of the CGRS in Dutch and in French and with some delay in English
