Odysseus Annual Conference 2018 (Brussels)

The Odysseus Annual Conference 2018 is entitled 'Conflict and Compromises between Law and Politics in EU Migration and Asylum Policies' as 2017 has been marked by several rulings of the Court of Justice in extremely sensitive cases.

What ?

The Odysseus Academic Network is a network of legal experts in immigration and asylum in Europe. It was founded in 1999 with the financial support of the European Commission. The network is a platform for the exchange of knowledge and expertise between academics, policy-makers, practitioners and NGOs in the field of immigration and asylum law and policy.

Bringing together legal and policy experts on asylum and migration from across Europe, the overarching theme of this year’s conference will be 'Conflict and Compromises between Law and Politics in EU Migration and Asylum Policies' as 2017 has been marked by several rulings of the Court of Justice in extremely sensitive cases.
