EMN Annual Conference on the EU in the Global Race for Talents (Tallinn, 2 days)

The Estonian Contact Point of the EMN will host the EMN Annual Conference entitled “The EU in the Global Race for Talents: Challenges and Solutions in Strengthening EU’s Competitiveness” on 21-22 September 2017 in Tallinn. It is part of the official programme of the Estonian EU Council Presidency.

What?

The overall aim of the Estonian EU Presidency Conference on Migration, The EU in the Global Race for Talents: Challenges and Solutions in Strengthening the EU’s Competitiveness, organised by the Estonian National Contact Point (NCP) for the European Migration Network, is to review the current state of talent migration in the European Union and to encourage an exchange of ideas between key stakeholders in this field.

This event will be a unique platform bringing together key stakeholders in the field of legal migration in Europe, including policymakers from different EU Member States, the European Commission, the European Parliament, EMN National Contact Points, Intergovernmental Organisations (IGOs), Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs), the private sector and the general public.
